Surrey Plasterers (“we”, “us”, “our”) takes your privacy seriously. This page explains what data we collect when you interact with us, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, and email when you contact us or book a job.
- Your address and postcode, needed to attend your property and quote accurately.
- Photos you send us of walls, ceilings or render so we can quote and plan the work.
- Details about the property and surfaces necessary to carry out the work — including measurements, substrate condition and any damp or damage history you share.
- Standard web analytics (page views, device type, referrer) via Google Analytics 4.
Why we collect it
- To deliver the service you’ve requested.
- To contact you about your booking, send quotes and invoices, or follow up after a job.
- To document insurance reinstatement work (photos and written scopes) where you’ve asked us to liaise with your insurer or loss adjuster.
- To improve the website (anonymised analytics only).
- To comply with our legal obligations (HMRC record-keeping).
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your data — ever.
- We don’t share your data with third parties except where strictly necessary (payment processor, materials suppliers for deliveries to site, and your insurer or loss adjuster where you’ve asked us to deal with them directly).
- We don’t send marketing emails unless you opt in.
Landlords and tenants
Where we carry out work in a rented property, we hold the landlord’s or agent’s contact details as our customer and the minimum tenant contact details needed to arrange access. Job records name the property and the work done, and copies are provided to the landlord or agent on request.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, call or WhatsApp us on 07877 309582.
Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies: a session cookie for the booking form, and Google Analytics cookies for anonymised usage stats. We do not run any advertising or retargeting cookies.
